This project was created for a monthly art challenge with friends, where we explore a different theme every month.
The theme for this one was "Chimeras." My idea was to combine a mermaid with features from an anglerfish, a sea lion, and a moray eel to create a creature that felt both fascinating and unsettling.
Alongside the final design, I've included a quick POV illustration from the perspective of a fisherman encountering the creature and some other creatures from my research phase.
